iggle piggle - here's the giggle
likes his cars and cakes and wriggles
he's a ginger cat that jiggles
had his first pair - proper shoes
in the bath tub - smells so gleaming
bubbles up and through the cleaning
chilled and friendly - what he's seeming
swings and slides and sandpits too
knows his granny - she's the bestest
she's the one he's always tested
when he's still - we hope he's rested
fifteen months and sixteen next...

books that speak
we're round the bend - so hear the pages turn
we're elephant and lumber like we do
we love our jobs - for smell of books we yearn
the white van comes - we bring our love to you
we talk of books and talk of books that speak
we don't forget the people that come in
we flash our purple black -we drive the week
we greet the world - the world greets with a grin
we love our jobs - for smell of books we yearn
we're round the bend - so hear the pages turn

food processing blues
so natalie - it's time to pluck the strings
to play piano - to tune the ears of muse
put down the choc'late - put down those things
you graceful tiger you - go play the blues
so play piano - to tune the ears of muse
write of lavender - flowers - watching films
or food processing - whatever's in the truth
pink purple neon blue - whatever hair has willed
put down the choc'late - put down those things
oh natalie - it's time to pluck the strings

we keep talking
you sail on - we all do
the guitar strings keep playing in the sun
we keep talking - red and grey and blue
i know the aftershave - the river's run
the guitar strings keep playing in the sun
the phone will know our words and our thoughts
what books you keep are piled (until they're gone)
you swagger as i watch you in your walk
we keep talking - red and grey and blue
i ask you how you are (the gardening's gone to pot)
what pill you take is daily (keeps you true)
i know you care - whatever life has got
i know the aftershave - the river's run
the guitar strings keep playing in the sun

expensive jeans
do you want me back - my lion - romantic sea?
would you bring your perfume to my life again?
will i see your hat - expensive jeans?
six months - i knew you then so when
will i see your hat (expensive jeans)?
and will you want me back - romantic sea?

flowers
the dolphin said - i won't have red
i'll have the green and blue and pink
poetry's nice - i'd like it twice
i'll put the fliwers in the sink
and culture too - so here's a clue
there's friends to make and arts and crafts
and hundred per cent is not intense
we're ready here - what makes the laughs?
i'll put the flowers in the sink
i'll have the green and blue and pink

know its blast
i've been around - but my brain is dead today
i've trumpeted - i've loved to know its blast
i'm like a dog - reliable in my way
just take me off to norfolk to relax
i've trumpeted - i've loved to know its blast
music's varied in my ears - i'll try it all
i've been policeman - ran with rugby fast
i've caught the bullet - an eye that took the call
i'm like a dog - reliable in my way
and thank you dad - your cooking's still as sweet
and thanks to leicester football club - they're great
but brain feels dead - the two halves never meet
just take me off to norfolk to relax
i've trumpeted - i've loved to know its blast
